Animalope Myth

Out where tall tales still breathe and the desert hums like a fiddle string, the Animalope roams — rabbits with antlers, quails with crowns, horned scorpions and tortoises that wear horns like trophies. Born of campfire sightings and dusty wonder, these creatures remind us that folklore is just truth with better horns.

And for those who have been asking — and are eager to wear a T-shirt with their favorite ’lope — yes, merchandise is already in the works. As we write this on a cool April afternoon, coffee mugs, calendars, framed art, and, of course, the book are all slowly making their way out of the creosote bushes.
